Glazed Pumpkin

Happy belated Halloween! This is the glazing technique, wet on dry, in layers (mostly). The boards look a little warped after I tore the paper off the block.

Excellent! Love the shiny look of this and the shapes of broken color in the blue of the background. Warped boards are very fitting for this subject, don’t you think?

    • Thanks, again! At one point it was dull, but I worked on pulling out the highl boardsights to make it look shiny. It was my first attempt at glazing. The warped boards will be fine after I get it matted. Thanks for the feedback!

  2. Great job! I especially like the twisted stem — very realistic.
