Mountain Storm

A couple of washes, then Derwent watercolor pencils for the rest; some put on dry, some using pencils dipped in water, and some put on dry, then brushed over.

    I was trying out those same pencils just yesterday. You did a lot more with them than I did though. 🙂

    • I like the Derwent WC pencils. I understand that they have been re-formulated and are softer (good for shading, but don’t hold a point for drawing). A paper with less tooth (hot-processed) would have been better for dry shading. Thanks for the comment!
